Vision
The Architecture Program at the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology aspires to achieve a prestigious position among the architecture programs at Egyptian, Arab, and international higher engineering institutes and colleges .
Mission
The Department of Architecture aims to provide a pioneering program at both the local and international levels, graduating outstanding architects who are capable of competing and possessing the necessary engineering skills and practical experience to keep pace with technological, environmental, and social challenges, in line with the needs of the job market.
Aims
The Department of Architecture at the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology aims to prepare architects who are capable of dealing with future issues in various fields, such as architectural design, construction, interior design, and urban design and planning. To achieve this goal, the department's program has been developed to include sufficient foundations of humanities and specialized sciences related to the department to define and provide students with the following:
-Skills related to architectural design and the study of the history and theories of architecture to comprehend the past and understand the present and its data to form a theoretical architectural background, as well as to develop and refine students' artistic abilities and cultivate their sense of space, movement, and color.
-Various professional practices, including the initial study of the project and its material, social, functional, and psychological requirements, as well as the health and safety considerations of the architectural space and its future changes, developments, and expansions. The purpose and objective of the design are then programmed, and final designs are prepared.
-Executing drawings, quantities, specifications of building materials, Technical works, legislation governing architectural and urban activities, and project implementation methods.
-Principles of regional and urban planning and its close relationship with design, as well as its increasing importance in urban development.
